Western Colorado Dragway is located in Grand Junction, Colorado only 32 miles from the Utah state line. The track elevation is 4800 feet above sea level and we are a high desert climate. This is a popular tourist destination area. For more information on enhancing your visit to our area contact:

WHERE TO STAY?
CLARION INN:
Off I-70 at the Horizon Drive exit. Rooms are only $69 per night if you use our name while making your reservations. 888-489-9796 This hotel has an indoor pool, game tables, bakery-restaurant, bar and is an easy drive to the track (next exit to the east on I-70). It is also an easy walk to the Visitor's & Convention Bureau and several fast food restaurants.
CAMPING AT THE TRACK:
Overnight parking / camping are allowed at the conclusion of our Friday night events. Saturday competitors may park in the overflow (those not adjacent to the staging lanes) pit areas on Friday night.
Overnight camping is allowed on Saturday nights after the conclusion of our event. There is no charge to camp outside the compound. All racers must exit the facility by 10am on Sunday morning.
EATING AT THE TRACK:
Grills and coolers are allowed. We also have a full service concession stand.
PIT PASSES:
All gate fees include a free pit pass.

Registration & Tech: starts at 6 p.m. and goes to 11 p.m.
Street Legal Drags: 8-12 p.m.

Super Pro: Electronics (7.00 - slower)
Pro ET: No Electronics, tranny brake or two step okay (7.00 - slower)
Sportsman: No Electronics, open headers okay, slicks or DOT okay (7.00 -
slower)
W.C.D. is an NHRA member track and follows all NHRA rules with the exception
that
ALL COMPETITORS AND PASSENGERS WILL WEAR A HELMET NO MATTER WHAT THE CLASS / SPEED OF THE VEHICLE.
Oil Retention rule (diapers / pans) for EVERY non-street legal vehicle (excluding motorcycles & snowmobiles). Each race car will be given a “bye”. You can run one weekend at the track without a device; but it will be noted that you have been warned to get one before you are allowed to come out again.
PIT SPACES:
All of our pit spaces immediately adjacent to the staging lanes are rented and reserved by our members. Please ask at the front gate where our open pit areas are located.
